Our cattle are raised and finished on pastures in the mountains of Virginia. They graze on a wide variety of different plants. This complete diet keeps the animals healthier and produces meat that is high in beneficial micro nutrients such as Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA), a healthy fat linked to improved metabolism, fat loss, and reduced cancer risk. Our beef contains 2-5 times more omega-3 fatty acids than traditional feedlot finished beef. Omega-3s are essential for heart health, brain function, and reducing inflammation. It is also higher in antioxidants and vitamins including vitamin E which supports immune function and skin health, vitamin A (beta-carotene) that is important for vision, immunity, and cell growth, and Glutathione & Superoxide Dismutase (SOD): Powerful antioxidants that protect against oxidative stress.
